Time to vote on the Participatory Budget

Good morning I.S. 10 Families:

From March 29th until April 6th, Participatory Budgeting is open for voting!
Participatory Budgeting is a process held by Council Member Tiffany Caban’s office through which community members are able to vote for projects proposed by community members. The office has $1 million for infrastructure projects and $50,000 for programmatic projects.
Our school has a project on the ballot, which is for an auditorium upgrade! Please vote for this project and any others that you’d like – you can vote for your top three projects in each category/
If you are aged 11+ and live, work, or go to school in District 22, you are able to vote for your school’s project as well as the other proposed projects. In order to vote, you can follow this link (www.pbnyc.org/vote) or pick up a physical ballot at CM Caban’s office. Their office is located at 30-83 31st St and is open from Monday through Thursday from 10am to 6pm. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to them at [email protected] or 718-274-4500.
