Dear Families of I.S. 10Q:

We were able to procure the services of EYE ON EDUCATION for our students.

However, we need 50 families to implement this program! So sign up today!

only 30 signed up, we need 20 more for this program to launch on April 27th
Representatives/Doctors will be here from EYE ON EDUCATION on April 27, 2023.
EYE ON EDUCATION has developed an On-Site Mobile Examination unit to evaluate your child’s vision. Their team is licensed eye doctors who have advanced training in pediatric eye care. This is not a vision-screening program. Their eye evaluation is comprehensive, examining blurred vision, lazy eyes and eye health. Eyeglasses will be provided when appropriate and delivered within 2 weeks.
There is no cost to the parent; the only requirement is a parental consent form and valid insurance card
NYCDOE students will receive these services regardless of whether they have medical insurance or not.

To be seen by the doctor, a parent/guardian must sign the consent form!

Pudimos adquirir los servicios de EYE ON EDUCATION para nuestros estudiantes. ¡Sin embargo, necesitamos 50 familias para implementar este programa! ¡Así que regístrate hoy!

EYE ON EDUCATION ha desarrollado una unidad de examen móvil en el sitio para evaluar la visión de su hijo. Su equipo está formado por doctores de la vista con licencia que tienen capacitación avanzada en el cuidado de los ojos pediátricos. Este no es un programa de evaluación de la vista. Su evaluación ocular es completa; examinando la visión borrosa, los ojos vagos y la salud ocular, {los estudiantes recibirán gotas para los ojos durante su examen}. Se proporcionarán anteojos GRATIS cuando corresponda y se entregarán dentro de las 2 semanas.

No hay costo para los padres; el único requisito es un formulario de consentimiento de los padres y una tarjeta de seguro válida.

Los estudiantes de NYCDOE recibirán estos servicios independientemente de si tienen seguro médico o no.

Spring is a time of renewal and rejoicing when everything starts to come back to life. It is also a time when many of us can take a break, recharge and relax.

SHSAT is cancelled today—Friday March 31, 2023 and it will resume on Friday April 28.

14-15 year olds apply for Summer Youth Employment with St Nicks and earn up to $700 this summer!!!

If your child is turning 14 by July 4, 2023, this is an awesome opportunity for them to do SYEP at IS 10 and earn up to $700!!!.

Please see the attached letter and flyer and act today if interested. We also have paper applications, complete them and bring them back to me{Mrs. Peterson} in room 107

Choose St Nicks Alliance as the agency so the students can come to IS 10 and work during the summer.

The deadline to file the application is this Friday, March 31, 2023.
