Exams we offer as part of the New York State (NYS) Regents Examinations:
- The Algebra 1 Regents Exam is a standardized test administered in New York State (NYS). The test is typically taken by students in grades 8 or 9, depending on their math track, and it covers fundamental algebra concepts aligned with the NYS Common Core standards. Topics include solving equations, functions, inequalities, statistics, and problem-solving, which are essential skills for higher-level math courses.
- The English Language Arts (ELA) Regents Exam is a standardized test given to high school students in New York State (NYS) . This exam is typically taken in 11th grade and assesses students' reading, writing, and analytical skills in alignment with the NYS Common Core standards. The test includes reading comprehension, analysis of fiction and non-fiction texts, and essay writing, which are all essential skills for college and career readiness.
- The U.S. Government Regents Exam (sometimes combined as part of a course or exam with U.S. History in New York State) assesses high school students' understanding of American government, foundational documents, and civic principles.
