Congratulations to all the families of our 8th grade students who graduated yesterday.



The weather was so-so, and not hot which was wonderful.



It was great to see many of you there at this memorable ceremony.


I will miss all my e-mail buddies I have gained over the last three years. It has been my pleasure to know you, help you, laugh / cry with you and at times understand your frustrations, Keep in touch and lots of luck to your children in high school!

Reminder,
Tomorrow is Graduation Day for our 8th grade students @ St. John's University is located at 8000 Utopia Parkway.

Students must arrive @ 1 PM and the ceremony will begin @ 2PM sharp!

Congratulations to everybody and can't wait to see you all there!

Parents-- don't forget your cameras and your tissues!

The SLT & PA meeting that was scheduled for today has been cancelled.

The next/last SLT & PA meetings will be held next week, Monday June 26th and the link will be sent out in a few days.

Reminder, Graduation is this Thursday @ St. John's University students must arrive @ 1 PM wearing their cap & gown.

The last day of school is June 27th and it is a full day!

Dear Parents,

Following the recommendation from Mayor Adams to stay indoors unless it is necessary to go out, and the decision made by the NYC Dept. of Education, to have their staff not report to the school building today, and the lack of possible chaperones for the dance.
In order to ensure everyone's safety, today's scheduled Senior dance is cancelled.

The new date for the dance will be - Tuesday June 13th, 2023.
